Resources

These are links to important sites that are related to my Ed Tech studies and some of the technology that I've integrated into my 7th and 8th grade Language Arts class.  This list is a work in progress, so be sure to check back often!

http://www.teachade.com - This is a social networking site for teachers.  It is a place for educators to share their experiences, ideas, and (most importantly) resources.

http://www.tappedin.org - This is a very useful virtual community of educational professionals.

http://www.furl.net - This is a social bookmarking site.  By saving your favorites online, you can view them from any computer and easily share them with others.

http://www.bloglines.com - This site is a convenient place to keep up with changes and updates from multiple blogs and other web sources.  Additionally, it is possible to share content with others.

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ - Audacity is a free and user-friendly audio recording and editing program.

http://www.inspiration.com/ - Inspiration is a program that can be used to create graphic organizers.  Students can use the visual based tools in the software to plan and organize their ideas for written assignments.
